Ecuador Day Hike around the Lakes of Papallacta

Papallacta Paramo Hike                8km - 4hrs             3800m - 4000m

We begin our hike after a one and a half hour journey from Quito to Papallacta. Today's walk takes us through the stunning glacial landscapes of the Papallacta region, an area filled with serene mountain lagoons and magical elfin forests. We have plenty of opportunity to learn more about the distinct flora & fauna of this region. Great paramo experience with mountain views. Picnic lunch is included and at the end of the day we have the option of visiting the local hot springs where we can relax in the rejuvenating thermal waters.
